Overview


Antylia is a progressive Latin American restaurant set to open Summer 2025. Helmed by chefs Aldo Camarena and Ashley McKay, Antylia delivers exceptional cuisine from the many reaches of the Americas. With a centered focus on Mexico and Latin America, the menu at Antylia takes diners on a journey through ingredients, techniques, flavours and narrative. Antylia is a fully open concept restaurant, where chefs, somms and servers alike tend to the guests directly, and every experience is communal.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Line Cook to join the team at Antylia. This is a full-time position that plays a key role in executing our upscale menu with precision, consistency, and care. As a small team, we are looking for someone committed and focused. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years' experience in a premium or fine-dining restaurant environment. Michelin experience is an asset, though not required. Must be prepared to engage with guests, as this is central to our model.

Duties



Execute the preparation of diverse types of seafood, grains, veggies and meats with the direction of our chefs. Work collaboratively with the kitchen and dining room team to ensure smooth service and consistent plate presentation. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station at all times, especially as this will be directly in the view of the guest. Ensure all food is handled and stored in accordance with health and safety regulations. Participate in daily prep work, inventory, and station setup. Take direction well and remain calm and focused under pressure during busy service periods.

Requirements



Minimum 3 years of experience in an upscale or fine-dining kitchen environment. Experience working on the line with high standards of execution and timing. Strong understanding of cooking techniques, temperature control, and plating. Michelin kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required. Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and passion for food and hospitality. Guest facing sociability. Food handlers and ability to work in Canada is a requirement.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 44 per week
