We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards and delivered promptly to our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance issues. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Basic culinary skills with an eagerness to learn more about meal preparation and cooking techniques. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
