Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and an understanding of kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety standards. Your role is essential in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including cooking stations and storage areas. Ensure proper food handling and safety practices are followed at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, specials, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for the food industry and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
