We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
Experience
Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling is required.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are important for this role.
