We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques Assist in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary

Skills

Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation methods Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in food service A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to learn and grow within the food industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
