We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures
Assist in menu planning and development as needed
Ensure all food is prepared to meet dietary restrictions and preferences
Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation
Participate in catering events as required, ensuring quality service and presentation
Support the dietary department by providing assistance to dietary aides when necessary
Requirements
Proven experience in a culinary role, preferably within the food industry or restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and fine dining service
Familiarity with menu planning and catering services is a plus
Excellent knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting
