We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that delight our customers while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food handling practices meet health regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup, cooking, plating, and cleanup.
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
