We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards
Assist in menu planning and development, providing input on seasonal offerings
Handle food safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with health regulations
Utilize proper knife skills for meal preparation, ensuring precision and efficiency
Support catering events as needed, preparing dishes for off-site service
Contribute to a positive dining experience by maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
Experience
Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
Familiarity with fine dining service and restaurant operations is advantageous
Background in the food industry or culinary arts is essential
Demonstrated experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices
Knowledge of catering services and meal preparation techniques is beneficial
