Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment while ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Assist in meal preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality
Follow all food safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours
Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues to management
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations in the kitchen
Strong ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced setting
