You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all dishes are prepared to perfection, maintaining our commitment to exceptional food quality and safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation.
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, grilling, frying, and baking as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager.
Skills
Proven experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Willing to train the right candidate.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
