We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that dishes are prepared to perfection and served promptly.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
