Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and meal service, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen station before and after service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and timely service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager. Adhere to proper food handling techniques to minimize waste and ensure quality. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation methods, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
