Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Night Line Cook to join our team in a bustling restaurant setting. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, cooking, and other kitchen duties to ensure a smooth food service operation. This position is specifically for those available for dinner service to close.

Duties:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing

- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes as per restaurant recipes

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations

- Ensure food safety standards are met throughout the food preparation process

- Collaborate with kitchen team members to deliver high-quality dishes promptly

- In our kitchen we have different prep tasks that occur morning - evening, so you will also get your hands in butchery, sauces, vegetable processing, braising, meat smoking etc. there is a lot to learn.

- Your ability to grow in the business is high and is fully based on how your show up and your will to improve yourself and your surroundings.

Experience:- 2 years Previous experience in a restaurant kitchen environment is preferred- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with fellow kitchen staff- Willingness to learn and help out in various kitchen tasks

Requirements:

- Must be able to close at least 2 days per week

- Must be available weekends

- Must be available at least 2 of the busy days per week

- Must be available for minimum 3 shifts per week

- Must understand understand the concept and importance of FIFO

Additional Notes:

Our closing times:

- Sunday and Monday at 10pm

- Tuesday to Thursday at 11pm

- Friday and Saturday at 12am

Close times scheduling will usually end 30-45 min after close times

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$21.50 per hour
