We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Participate in daily kitchen prep work, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and assembling ingredients for meals.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
2+ years experience in meal preparation within the food industry required.
