Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food presentation and ensure dishes are plated attractively
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
Support meal preparation for special events or catering as needed
Adhere to all safety procedures to prevent accidents or injuries in the kitchen
Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food handling safety standards
Familiarity with maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a food industry setting
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration and customer service
