Job Description
A Line Cook at Montana's BBQ & Bar is responsible for preparing and cooking food items to order, ensuring quality and consistency, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. They work in a fast-paced environment, typically assigned to a specific station within the kitchen, such as the grill or fry station. Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation and Cooking:
Preparing ingredients, portioning food items, and cooking food to Montana's specifications and standardized recipes.Quality Control:
Ensuring food is cooked to the correct temperature, appearance, and portion size, meeting the restaurant's established food quality standards.Station Maintenance:
Keeping their assigned cooking station clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.Teamwork:
Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food service.Following Procedures:
Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards, as well as restaurant procedures.Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is often preferred, with some roles requiring specific experience in food handling and cooking.
