We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and portioning.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure safe food handling practices.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Participate in daily prep work and assist with special events or catering as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices is essential.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
