We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that every dish meets our standards for quality and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
