We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are adhered to at all times.
Assist in meal preparation for service, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
Participate in training new kitchen staff as required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential; restaurant experience is preferred.
Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
