Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/ Grill cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Assist in meal preparation and plating for service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages to management. Participate in the training of new kitchen staff as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in the kitchen.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and food safety practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
