We are seeking linecooks that have solid cooking skills. This is more suited for someone that has grill and steak cooking, pasta, entree and fish cooking skills.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering services as needed.
Keep up-to-date with new cooking techniques and trends in the food industry.
Requirements
Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in meal preparation.
