We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and kitchen operations. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality specifications
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours
Participate in meal preparation for special events or large orders as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Familiarity with serving techniques and customer service principles is a plus
