Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including knife skills and food handling techniques
Plate dishes ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety guidelines
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Experience with, food safety protocols, and food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Fine dining experience or experience in the food industry is preferred
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
