Our organization is looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented Line Cook to produce quality food and maintain clean operating areas. Line Cook responsibilities include preparing, cooking and assembling food according to restaurant menus for customers. You will also need to be good at handling kitchen tools, like knives, and food products. Working as a Line Cook will require you to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and remain cool-headed in stressful situations. The goal is to prepare high quality food on time in the most efficient manner possible.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food according to recipes.
Prepare and cook vegetables and other side dishes based on recipes.
Prepare and cook basic sauces and soups based on recipes.
Prepare and cook meat, fish and poultry by following recipes .
Wash, peel, trim, season and garnish food items ;.
