We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of meal preparation and food safety practices. This position involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, where teamwork and efficiency are essential to delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices. Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and cooking instructions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during busy periods. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols. Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

Requirements

Previous experience in meal preparation or as a cook in the food industry is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the culinary field.
