Position Description

The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a 2-year limited-term Instructor position. Candidates must possess the interest and ability to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in computer science and information security, particularly to support teaching in our Information Security program. Candidates will also contribute to course development and teaching in the Faculty of Science's professional certificate and diploma programs in Information Security & Privacy.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, and have a demonstrated ability in delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate students. The successful candidate will teach up to 5 half-course equivalents (HCE) per calendar year, and will also have the opportunity to engage in scholarly activities to maintain currency in the field, including scholarship of teaching & learning.
