Full Packaging Lift Truck - Shift B

Grade 5

Training requirements: On the job training

Purpose: Responsible for all SL4 packaging & process related forklift operations

To clean the packaging area, and surrounding areas

• Job responsibilities:
• Supply totes, packaging material, ingredients to production areas as required.
• Unload trailers on weekends or night shifts as required
• Dump food waste and filter paper totes from fryer area
• Put away packaging materials and ingredients at end of production run.
• To break other operators for scheduled breaks, or as required.
• Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness in their assigned area by use of an air hose, etc.
• Follow GMP\'s.
• Advise supervision of any safety issues including misuse of lift trucks, within their work environment.
• Actively look for ways to improve plant sanitation.
• Actively look for ways to improve overall packaging operation.
• All other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor.

Daily duties:

• Supply box, poly, and ingredients, and perform appropriate transactions in SAP
• Take care of starch and receive in WMS
• Empty waste poly cart
• Take care of compactors
• Break palletizer, wexxar, and cold storage lifter as required
• Break where the lead hand or supervisor assigns
• Split (in half) bundle of shooks from 1000 to 500
