Job Summary

The Life Skills Coach plays a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to achieve greater independence and enhance their quality of life. This position involves providing support, guidance, and training in essential life skills, fostering personal growth, and promoting social integration. Duties

Develop and implement individualized training programs tailored to the needs of each participant. Provide instruction in daily living skills, including personal hygiene, cooking, budgeting, and social interactions. Facilitate group activities that promote teamwork, communication, and social skills. Assist participants in setting and achieving personal goals related to independence and self-sufficiency. Monitor progress and maintain accurate records of participant development and achievements. Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each individual. Administer medication as required while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Skills

Strong background in special related fields is preferred. Experience working with people with disabilities is essential. Caregiving experience is beneficial for understanding the needs of participants. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds. Ability to administer medication safely and responsibly while ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines. This role is ideal for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of others through skill development and support.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
