Who You Are

licensed life insurance professional
in good standing (LLQP)
Experienced in
estate planning
, with a strong understanding of permanent life insurance, beneficiary structures, tax considerations, and wealth transfer strategies
A

who can simplify complex ideas and provide guidance that gives clients peace of mind

building long-term relationships

Key Responsibilities
Support the lead advisor in
client servicing
, including responding to inquiries, managing policy changes, and tracking key renewal dates
Provide expert
insurance advice and planning support
to clients, with an emphasis on protection, estate preservation, and tax efficiency
Assist in the
design and implementation of insurance strategies
, including needs analysis, illustrations, and application preparation
Participate in client meetings and follow-ups, helping maintain a high level of trust and engagement
Collaborate with other professionals (lawyers, accountants, underwriters) as part of a comprehensive estate and financial planning process
Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with industry standards and internal processes
Qualifications
Valid Life License Qualification Program (LLQP)
license in Canada (and eligible to work with multiple carriers)
3+ years' experience
in life insurance advisory, preferably with exposure to estate and legacy planning
Knowledge of
insurance software
, CRM tools, and underwriting processes
Professional communication and relationship management skills
Strong ethical compass -- always putting the client's needs and long-term well-being first
Nice to Have
Experience working within a
wealth advisory or financial planning
firm
Familiarity with corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) or business succession planning
Designations such as
CLU, or CFP
are strong assets
