Overall Role
Working within the Client Service and Wealth Advisory team, the Associate position plays a key role in supporting advisors and delivering an exceptional client experience. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day client service needs, including preparing and maintaining financial planning documents, coordinating account administration, and ensuring accurate and timely follow-through on client requests. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and eager to grow their knowledge of financial planning concepts, helping to ensure that clients feel supported and confident in every stage of their financial journey.
Responsibilities: Client Service and Financial Planning Support (100%)
? Coordinate new client onboarding, including paperwork, transfers, and administrative setup
? Respond to and resolve client inquiries with accuracy and professionalism
? Assist in developing and maintaining client financial plans
? Support the Wealth Advisory Team with account reviews and ongoing client service needs
? Prepare and organize annual client review packages, tax packages and meeting materials
? Contribute to portfolio reviews, performance reporting, and proposal preparation
? Draft and process client account trades for advisor approval
? Collaborate on portfolio construction and investment research
? Engage in business development activities and client relationship initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
? Post-secondary education preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
? Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) considered an asset
? Demonstrated interest and skills in financial planning an asset
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Commitment to high ethical standards and professional integrity
? Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality client service
