Life Insurance Specialist Are you an experienced life insurance professional looking for a rewarding career opportunity? We\'re seeking a dynamic Insurance Specialist for our Calgary Region. How does the role impact the organization? As an Insurance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to drive insurance sales within the assigned region by way of providing support, education and expertise to Raymond James Advisors in the work they do with their clients. You enjoy being the \xe2\x80\x9cinsurance expert\xe2\x80\x9d and will apply your expertise to help our clients safeguard their loved ones and assets while achieving their financial goals. In addition, you\'ll have the opportunity to grow your own insurance practice within our firm. What will your role be responsible for? Collaborate with Financial Advisors: Work closely with our firm\'s financial advisors to identify and understand clients\' insurance needs within their overall financial strategies. Provide Insurance Solutions: Offer expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of life insurance products, including term life, whole life, and universal life insurance, tailored to their unique financial goals and circumstances. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance plans align with their evolving financial situations. This includes regular reviews and adjustments as needed. New Business Development: Proactively grow your own insurance practice by identifying and pursuing new opportunities. This may involve networking, lead generation, and marketing strategies. Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in the insurance field to ensure that all client interactions and transactions meet legal standards. Education and Training: Continuously enhance your knowledge of insurance products and financial planning strategies through ongoing education and training programs. Share this knowledge with colleagues and clients. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, insurance policies, and financial plans. Generate reports and documentation as required by the firm and regulatory authorities. What can you expect from us? Our most important investment is in people. We also support internal promotion and community involvement. NB: This is a commission based role Qualifications What do we expect from you? To qualify for this opportunity you possess:

• Licensed for Life, Accident and Sickness Insurance (AIC)
• A minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the sale or marketing of life insurance products, including selling life insurance products to clients;
• Extensive insurance and financial planning expertise, or CFP, CLU, CHFC, or currently involved in taking the course(s);
• Multi-carrier product knowledge including fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures used in the life insurance industry;
• A natural leader who is results-driven;
• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; and
• Proficiency in using computer systems, databases, and relevant software applications.
• Effective email, videoconferencing, and telephone etiquette and relationship management skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
