Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist in medical procedures, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is essential in delivering care to patients in various settings, including hospitals and clinics, with a focus on pediatrics and dementia care.

Responsibilities



Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist with case management by coordinating patient care plans and ensuring follow-up on treatment protocols. Conduct phlebotomy procedures for laboratory testing and maintain accurate records of patient information. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff or physicians promptly. Engage in pain management strategies to enhance patient comfort and recovery. Support pediatric patients through compassionate care tailored to their unique needs. Document all patient interactions in the electronic health record system (Epic) accurately and timely. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients, particularly those with dementia or complex medical needs.

Experience



Current LPN license in good standing is required. Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred, particularly in pediatrics or geriatric care. Familiarity with case management practices and pain management techniques is advantageous. Experience working with children or individuals with dementia is highly desirable. Proficiency in laboratory procedures and phlebotomy skills is a plus.

Pay: From $33.00 per hour
