FULL TIME LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE SUPERVISOR

About Us:

The Wolfville Elms is a privately owned residential care facility providing quality care for 23 residents. Our residential care facility is dedicated to creating a warm and supportive environment where residents can thrive. We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.

Position Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Wolfville Elms, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care to our senior residents. Working 8:30am to 4:30pm, weekdays, the LPN will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and personalized care, promoting the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and assess residents' health, promptly addressing any changes in condition. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Oversee the healthcare team to ensure that the day-to-day activities provided by the healthcare team run smoothly (i.e., meals, recreational programs, daily care routines). Ensure that accurate resident health records and documented and maintained. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals. Manage the scheduling for all staff.

Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN license CPR certification Experience in a senior care or residential facility considered an asset Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Compassionate and dedicated to providing quality care for seniors
