Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
to join our team and work closely with
two rheumatologists
in a busy, supportive clinic environment.

What You'll Do
Prepare patient charts ahead of visits, review
PharmaNet
and
CareConnect
, and ensure records are up to date.
Welcome patients, take vitals, and prepare them for their appointment.
Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and lifestyle recommendations.
Notify patients of test results, book follow-up appointments, and answer questions clearly and compassionately.
Assist physicians during exams, treatments, and procedures.
Manage patient records and documentation in the EMR (
Plexia
), including timely posting of labs and test results.
Schedule tests, referrals, and specialist appointments; assist with pre-authorizations when required.
Support inventory management of supplies and medications (including controlled substances).
Contribute to maintaining an efficient, welcoming clinic environment.
What We're Looking For
Licensed Practical Nurse
in good standing in BC.
Fluent in
English
(spoken and written). Additional languages are an asset.
Strong
people skills
: kind, patient, empathetic, and professional.
A natural
problem solver
who can prioritize tasks and stay organized.
Tech-savvy
with EMR systems (Plexia preferred) and comfortable learning new tools.
Experience with chart preparation,
PharmaNet
and
CareConnect
.
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and infection control.
Reliable, adaptable, and calm under pressure.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
Minimum
1 year of experience
in a hospital or clinic setting preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate).
Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone.
Ability to multitask without compromising quality of care.
