Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality resident care. The LPN will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing resident's conditions. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist with pain management strategies for residents Offer specialized care for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations within the healthcare facility.

Qualifications

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience in assisted living, senior care, or similar healthcare settings is preferred. Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pain management techniques. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Knowledge of case management principles is advantageous. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in providing quality care to residents Ability to adapt to changing situations and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: From $37.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12.5 - 37.5 per week
