Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in various settings, including home care, hospitals, nursing homes, and hospice care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

NB : This is a Local Agency contract with no benefits.

Duties

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, medical history, and symptoms. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Provide personal care assistance to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care provided. Support laboratory procedures as needed and assist with diagnostic tests. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following experience:

Previous experience in home care or acute care settings is preferred. Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus. Experience working in medical offices or hospitals is advantageous. Background in caring for children or individuals with special needs is desirable. Strong skills in patient assessment, communication, and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
