We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, medical offices, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Duties
Skilled in charting.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Support patients and their families by providing education on health management and wellness.
Participate in pain management strategies for patients requiring specialized care.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings, hospice care, laboratory environments, and home care services.
Qualifications
Current BCCNM licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Experience in acute care, hospice care, assisted living, or home care is preferred.
Strong knowledge of patient care practices and medical terminology.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with pain management techniques is a plus.
