Job Summary

We are a busy family medical clinic looking to add to our team. We are seeking a compassionate, professional, and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care under the direction of our physicians. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical and communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients.

Duties

Adhering to Privacy Protection Protocols, and maintaining patient and clinic confidentiality. Communicating test results, intructions, and appointments to patients as directed by physicians. Communicating with pharmacies, home care, and other medical facilities in a concise and professional manner. Providing direct patient care, including administering injections, suture removals, wound dressings, and ear flushes. Greeting and escorting patients to exam rooms, taking vitals as required and conducting any necessary pre-work that is appropriate to appointment. Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Perform other related duties, as required.

Skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Registered with CLPNA and in good standing. Competency and proficiency in navigating Electronic Medical Records (Ava EMR), as well as Netcare. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and patience. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
