Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and be committed to providing high-quality nursing services in various settings, including assisted living facilities and home care environments. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes in their condition Maintaining accurate patient records as per college requirements Collaborating with other healthcare professionals in developing patient care plans Ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining a safe environment for patients

Skills

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills:

Knowledge of acute care practices and dementia care techniques Experience in home care, or senior care settings is advantageous Proficiency in patient care, medication administration, and medical terminology Familiarity with electronic health record systems (Oscar/Kroll) is a plus Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and families Ability to manage OAT patients and deliveries for OAT medications. Must be able to drive and have own vehicle .

Pay: $26.08-$30.00 per hour
