Job Responsibilities:

Prepare patients for physical exam/surgery Perform minor skin procedures independently Assist physician with more complex procedures Maintain a good workflow and meet expectations of patients in relation to being on time Prepare requisitions and process specimen collection Perform post-procedure wound care Educate patients on post-procedure care as necessary Maintain and clean the safe and well-stocked exam and operating rooms, assist with clinic housekeeping Conduct follow-up phone calls with patients regarding their care or if any questions arise Work with administration staff to assist phone calls and triage patient referrals and patient bookings Receive and review pathology reports Contact patients with lab results and assist with referrals out Perform other duties, as trained and assigned Consult cosmetic treatments and skin care products
Skills & Qualifications:

LPN Certificate from accredited Professional licensing body Prior medical clinic experience is a key qualification Good computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Office and an understanding of EMR Attention to detail, high-level of accuracy Reliability and punctuality Familiarity with dermatology procedures, tools and equipment considered an asset Strong time management and organizational skills, flexibility and multi-tasking ability Dedication and will to learn
