We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various plumbing issues. This role requires both technical expertise and physical stamina, as you will be working in diverse environments, including commercial, and industrial settings. Onetrade specializes in small to medium commercial builds in Ontario.

We have a vast majority of contracts doing restaurants, offices and more.

Some but not all jobs are out of town stay away.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues. Perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs. Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Adhere to safety regulations and building codes while performing all tasks. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed. Experience with welding techniques is advantageous. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Valid commercial driving license may be required for certain positions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
