Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team as the primary in-house plumbing professional supporting our property management and construction portfolio, as well as ongoing service work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and light industrial properties.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated plumber who wants the independence of managing their own work without the burden of running a business. You get the freedom and responsibility of being your own boss in the field, without the paperwork, scheduling, invoicing, or administrative overhead that normally comes with operating a plumbing company. We handle the business side so you can focus on the work.

The Plumber will work closely with property management staff, construction teams, and other trades to ensure reliable building operations, efficient project delivery, and high-quality service for tenants and clients.

Responsibilities



Install, repair, service, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, drains, and appliances Act as the in-house plumber for a managed property portfolio, including service calls, preventative maintenance, unit turnovers, and emergency response Complete plumbing work for active construction and renovation projects within the company portfolio Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layouts and installation procedures Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently in occupied and unoccupied buildings Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete tasks safely and efficiently Perform heavy lifting and material handling as required for installations and repairs Conduct routine inspections to identify deficiencies and recommend corrective action Coordinate with property managers and site supervisors to prioritize service work and construction schedules Follow all safety protocols, plumbing codes, and regulatory requirements at all times Assist with related mechanical troubleshooting involving HVAC or carpentry when required

Skills and Qualifications



Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on plumbing systems Experience with service plumbing, maintenance work, and construction installations Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Basic math skills for measurements, layouts, and material takeoffs Experience working in property management or multi-unit buildings is an asset Knowledge of HVAC systems, carpentry, or general construction is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites and properties Licensed Plumber holding a valid Ontario Certificate of Qualification (306A)
