What You'll Be Doing:

Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools. Operating hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during the installation, setup, and repair of machinery. Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions. Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts. Operating machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or setup of machinery. Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery. Constructing foundations for machinery. Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment. Training new hires and/or apprentices on the intricacies of the job. Ensuring that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety Systems are met. Performing other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

High School diploma or equivalent. College degree or Trade School Certification. Three to five years of experience. Strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics as well as some welding experience. Proficiency in English (both spoken and written). Proficiency in Math.

Work Environment (including Physical Demands):

Work indoors; environment can be noisy and involve different temperatures. Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks, such as heavy lifting, climbing ladders, crawling, etc. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. Work shifts may include days, afternoons, nights, or continental. Ability to stand and walk for long periods. Ability to work overtime when required/requested.
