Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Licensed Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, with the ability to work on various systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and other mechanical components. Experience with HVAC/R, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), fabrication and welding would also be assets.

This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of safety and reliability.

Duties/Responsibilities



Install, align, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment in the manufacturing facility. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC/R, and PLC-controlled systems. Diagnose issues using precision tools, schematics, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and system diagrams to plan and execute repairs or installations. Operate lifts, hoists, and other equipment safely, following all safety standards and procedures. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Maintain accurate maintenance records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Support training of new team members in equipment operation and workplace safety.

Experience/Qualifications



Certified Millwright or equivalent trade certification. Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting. Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Familiarity with electrical systems (high and low voltage), hydraulics, HVAC/R, and PLC-controlled systems. Skilled in a variety of welding techniques and mechanical repair methods. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong commitment to workplace safety. Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Work Conditions



Manufacturing facility environment; exposure to machinery, noise, and moving parts. May require shift work, overtime, or weekends depending on production demands.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.56-$43.19 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
