Position Title: Licensed Industrial ElectricianPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time \xe2\x80\x8bPosition Location: Portage La PrairieRequisition ID: 30599Requirements:

• Journeyperson Red Seal Electrician with Industrial experience
• Strong background in instrumentation
• Strong knowledge in PLC 5, RS Logic, Allen Bradley controls, Device Net, Ethernet and RS View background especially around installations and troubleshooting
• Background knowledge in Frequency drives especially with 1336 plus and Powerflex
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Food Processing
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, listening
• Must be able to work shift work (12hr), including evenings and weekends
• Must be a team player, willing to participate and lead
• Proven ability to work independently, and to prioritize tasks with a keen sense of urgency
• Mechanical experience and background would be considered an asset
• Previous Supervision/leadership roles an asset.

Duties:

• Electrical maintenance and repair on processing and packaging equipment
• Electrical maintenance and repair on all factory buildings.
• Lay out, assemble, install, repair and maintain equipment or components exposed to direct/indirect contact with electricity
• Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are understood and practiced to ensure that all work is being completed in a safe manner.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and electrical schematics
