Position Title: Licensed Industrial ElectricianPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time \xe2\x80\x8bPosition Location: CoaldaleRequisition ID: 30763Summary: The position is responsible for all electrical duties in the maintenance, operation, and repair of electrical systems. They assist with and perform installation and maintenance tasks in order to ensure the effective operation of various electrical equipment.Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that the work is in accordance with relevant codes.
• Maintains/trouble shoots PLC, computer software, hardware, and variable speed drives, calibrates and maintains steam and water control valves.
• Maintains safety standards of equipment and work area according to established procedures and as instructed by the manager.
• Providing information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
• Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning, or testing machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily based on electrical or electronic (not mechanical) principles.
• Time Management -- Managing one\'s own time and the time of others.
• Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)

• Must be a fully Licensed Industrial Electrician with experience in manufacturing and/or process industries.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
• Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
• Controlling operations of equipment or systems
• Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

Physical Requirements

• Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
• The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
• The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.

Hourly Rate

• $ 49.71
