Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced Immigration Consultant (RCIC) to join our Vancouver-based team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our international student services team, education counselors, and partner agencies to provide professional immigration support and consultation services, primarily for study permits, post-graduate work permits (PGWP), and other student-related immigration matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide immigration consultation to international students and their families, with a focus on study permits, PGWPs, TRVs, visitor visas, and related applications
Review and assess client eligibility and provide personalized immigration solutions
Prepare and submit complete, accurate applications to IRCC
Stay up to date with Canadian immigration policies, especially those affecting international students
Provide internal training to education counselors and staff on immigration-related updates
Communicate professionally with clients, maintain proper documentation, and follow up with immigration authorities when needed
Support marketing team with immigration-related webinars or content when required
Requirements:
Must be a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) in good standing with CICC
Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in immigration consulting, preferably with a focus on international students
Strong understanding of Canadian immigration processes and policies (IRPA, IRPR)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset
Fluent in English; Mandarin or other languages considered an asset
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
