Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, all applicants must meet the following non-negotiable requirements:

Valid License: Must hold a current, active License to Practice Hairstyling from Skilled Trades Ontario.
Demonstrable Experience: You must have mandatory, proven, professional experience in executing a comprehensive range of services, specifically:
Advanced Colour Techniques: Expert proficiency in Balayage and Highlights is essential.
Precision Cutting: Mandatory experience with modern and classic Haircuts for all hair types and lengths.
Location: Applicants must currently reside within the Ottawa area. No relocation assistance or sponsorship will be provided.
Availability: Guaranteed weekend availability is a non-negotiable requirement.

Service Excellence: Actively solicit and synthesize client feedback to ensure continuous improvement and personalized service delivery.
Trend Leadership: Proactively research and integrate the latest innovations and emerging fashion trends in hair and styling.
Business Development & Marketing:
Self-Promotion: Strategically market your services to cultivate and expand your own clientele base.
Digital Presence: Leverage social media platforms to grow your professional brand and attract new clients.
Client Retention: Nurture enduring relationships with clients through superior service and excellent interpersonal skills.
Communication: Exhibit exceptional listening and verbal communication skills to ensure client needs are fully understood and met.

Pay: $35,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
