Position Summary:

We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic

Hairstylist Instructor

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and mentoring students in hairstyling techniques, theory, and practical skills in accordance with New Brunswick's cosmetology standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations in all aspects of hairstyling, including cutting, coloring, chemical treatments, and styling techniques Implement lesson plans, assignments, and assessments aligned with provincial curriculum guidelines Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Maintain a professional and safe learning environment Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques Support students in preparing for provincial licensing exams Collaborate with staff to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed hairstylist in the Province of New Brunswick

Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the hairstyling industry Previous teaching or training experience (preferred, but not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Passion for education and mentorship Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs
