What We're Looking For

We're seeking a

soulful, heart-centered EMDR-certified therapist

to join us as an Independent Contractor.

You'll thrive at AEM if you are:

Deeply committed to authenticity, holistic healing, and trauma-informed care. Passionate about using EMDR to help clients process and heal from trauma. Excited to work in a supportive, inclusive, and innovative community. Open to collaboration and creative approaches to psychotherapy.
Qualifications

You must hold one of the following licenses:

Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). Registered Psychologist (R. Psych) with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia. Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (BCCSW). Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with BCACC.

Educational Background:

A master's or doctoral degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Social Work.

Specialization:

Must be

EMDR-certified

. Additional interest or experience in the following areas is highly valued: Couples & Relationship Therapy (LGBTQIA2S+ inclusive) Sex Therapy Psychedelic Therapy (Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, Psychedelic Integration, Harm Reduction) Clinical Assessment ICBC Cases (Collaboration with medical professionals and lawyers) General therapy concerns such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, and self-awareness.
